Most pregnancy symptoms will go away within a few days, but may last longer if you are using the Pill, the Patch, or the Ring.
Morning sickness should disappear within two days, but may persist if you are taking the Pill.
Breast changes usually settle by the end of the first week, but may persist if you are taking the Pill. Although unlikely, you may notice a milky discharge from your breasts after the procedure. Do not express the fluid – it will go away within two weeks.
Do not take a pregnancy test, as false positives are likely due to pregnancy hormones remaining in your body for weeks after the procedure.
Your normal period should return within six weeks of the procedure, but certain forms of hormonal birth control can make it come sooner, or later.
