It is important to note that the contraceptive methods listed as high cost are also highly effective. The long-term investment is worth it if you want to prevent pregnancy. Many drug plans cover the pill or IUD. If you are student at UBC, the IUD is cheaper and a team of doctors insert them for you every third Monday at the Health Clinic at UBC Hospital.
